Q: Can I use a different battery later or upgrade later?

A: CYC says its systems are open and can work with XT90 or XT90S batteries, including third-party batteries, and that the X1 Pro Gen 4 is compatible with nominal 36V to 72V packs. At the same time, CYC also says unsupported systems, unauthorized firmware, or unapproved modifications may not be warranted.

Q: Are RIF/CYC systems waterproof?

A: The CYC Gen 3/4 updates sealed previous water-ingress points for heavy rain and washing, and the X12 controller is listed at IP66.

Warranty, Returns, & Policy Questions

Q: What warranty comes with the CYC motor system?

A: The X1 Pro Gen 4 kit has a 2-year warranty. CYC also offers a 1-year warranty on some standalone components such as the A-65 battery and X12 controller, yet unauthorized firmware or unauthorized modifications are not covered.

A: Banshee is making an exclusive exception by offering their 4-year coverage on all RIF custom Banshee builds, once the frame is registered.

Q: Can I modify my Banshee after delivery?

A: The RIF Banshee builds can be modified and still covered under warranty if it is not normally covered in the Banshee warranty aside from the exclusive exception made through the partnership.

Q: What happens if my order arrives damaged or has a defective part?

A: Inspect it immediately and report it right away. Report damaged, defective, or incorrect items should be reported on receipt, and may replace faulty components rather than an entire bike after troubleshooting.

Q: Can I return a RIF order?

A: All sales are final with no returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Q: Are shipping, dealer fees, and sales tax included in the listed price?

A: Listed prices do not include shipping, dealer fee, or sales tax.

Q: Can I carry a passenger on a RIF bike?

A: The RIF bikes are single-rider models and are not built for a second passenger.

What is the easiest way to buy the right RIF the first time?

A: First choose whether you want a street-legal model (Fury or Race) or an off-road-only custom build (Banshee). Then use the dealer/demo flow if you want local help, and complete the order through the official NatiCycle checkout only after you are comfortable with sizing, build options, and the posted warranty/return terms.
